Class 4 Updates

Dear Parents,

Here are a few important reminders for this week:

1) Math Homework
Due date: October 26, 2025
Students are required to complete pages 10 - 22 in their Math Workbook.

2) Remembrance Day Poster Activity
Students need to create a Remembrance Day poster in their sketchbooks.
The best posters will be selected and featured in our Grade 4 Remembrance Day Assembly PowerPoint presentation.
Please make sure your child writes their name and class at the bottom right corner of the sheet.

3) FSA Practice
Kindly check your email for FSA practice materials and work through the questions with your child in preparation for the upcoming assessments. I’ve also attached samples showing how to write answers and how not to write them. Please review these carefully with your child - responses should be detailed and well explained.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you
Ms. John

Classroom Reminders

Dear Parents,

1. Please note that there will be no P.E. tomorrow as we have our school Mass. Students are requested to come dressed in their regular school uniforms.

2. In class, we discussed Thanksgiving Day and decided to decorate our classroom to reflect the celebration. We would greatly appreciate it if you could send along any Thanksgiving decorations you already have at home. Please do not purchase anything new - items from previous years would be perfect. An indigenous touch would also be most welcome. Kindly label the items so that we can easily return them after use.

3. The students have also been asked to think of decoration ideas at home. They will be sharing their suggestions tomorrow, and we will discuss them together in class.

4. A gentle reminder: Students who have not yet returned their Goal Setting Conference form are requested to submit it by tomorrow. Tomorrow will be the final day for submission.

Thank you so much for your support!
