Instructions for Students
Write a poem that uses all five senses to describe an object, place, or experience.
Your poem does not need to rhyme, but it should include:
Something you can see
Something you can hear
Something you can smell
Something you can taste
Something you can touch
You may start your lines with:
I see… / I hear… / I smell… / I taste… / I feel…
Choose one topic from below:
- A rainy day
- A birthday party
- The beach
- A campfire
- A trip to the zoo
- Riding a bicycle
